At Valor Health, therapists on our skilled cardio/respiratory team have earned advanced certifications as registered or certified respiratory therapists licensed by the state of Idaho to provide all levels of respiratory care. Our team evaluates and manages a variety of lung conditions, including chronic respiratory disease, wheezing, and shortness of breath. Therapists and staff also personalize treatment plans to manage chronic conditions like asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, infectious lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and respiratory diseases.

Cardio/Respiratory teams are heavily invested in preventative care for post-operative patients; therapists provide lung inflation therapy and monitor a patient’s ability to maintain healthy lung function following surgery. Respiratory therapists also assess and manage the lung function of patients in the emergency room, inpatients during their hospital stay, and respiratory transitional care patients.

Physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapists collaborate to develop long-term treatment programs for acute respiratory crises, including:

  • Asthma and Allergy Care

Meet Kevin -

I found a great opportunity at Valor Health to learn and grow my career as a respiratory therapist. I chose this career so that I could make a difference and positive change in someone’s life. I enjoy working with my patients, reviewing current situations, and creating future plans with them to improve their life. When I’m not working, I enjoy staying active- playing sports or enjoying the many outdoor activities that Idaho offers.

Meet Tracey -

My name is Tracey,  I have over 22 years of healthcare experience and I am a certified respiratory therapist. I joined Valor Health in 2021, with a goal to build real relationships with my patients based on communication and trust. I want my patients to feel comfortable and confident with their health plan and am available to educate and support them through their health journey. My true love is horses, and I spend much of my free time training and barrel racing.

I enjoy listening to my patients- learning about who they are and treating each person equally and with empathy. My favorite holiday is Halloween, and I enjoy building elaborate animated shows each year.
