Valor Health is a county-owned healthcare facility in Gem County, Idaho. Valor Health leads with a mission to improve the wellness and health of generations in our region today and into the future.
As a 501c3 tax-exempt organization, Valor has a fiduciary obligation to provide benefits to those we serve. Each year, Valor Health provides thousands of dollars in Community Benefit programs. Our goal is to promote health in Emmett, Idaho, and beyond. We provide various outreach opportunities for the entire community, focusing on financial assistance, community health improvement services, community building, education, and local donations.

Gem County Health Needs Assessment
Gem County is included in the Treasure Valley United Way Community Health Needs Assessment, conducted every three years. More information can be found at https://www.unitedwaytv.org/.
OUR COMMUNITY BENEFIT PLAN: Valor Health uses many resources in determining community needs and the direction for our annual community benefit plan. Using data from the United Way’s Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), Healthy People 20/20, and the County Health Rankings, we better understand the most significant health challenges facing the individuals and families in Gem County. The information, conclusions, and needs identified in these assessments will assist the hospital in:
- Developing health improvement programs for our area
- Improving access to and providing better care
- Defining our operational and strategic plans
- Fulfilling our mission and strategic plan
