Valor Health 2019 Community Health Fair was a great success. The sun was out as more than 250 community members joined in celebration receiving screenings, free health education, hospital tours, healthy foods, prizes and more.
The day began with a kick-off walk around the Valor Health Campus, strolling the beautiful Mary Secor Walking Trail, led by Valor’s CEO, Brad Turpen and joined by the City of Emmett’s Mayor, Gordon Petrie, and Emmett Schools Superintendent, Wayne Rush. Booths were decorated to match a beachy theme, encouraging all to Ride the Wellness Wave, awarding Horizon Hospice the Best Decorated and Most Engaged Booth.
