Corey Furin

Corey joined Valor Health in March of 2021. Prior to joining Valor Health, he worked in financial leadership roles for St. Luke’s Health System as a Site Finance Director and most recently as an Area Finance Director for one of their Population Health regions. Corey has been in healthcare administration since 2011, with an intense goal of being an operationally minded finance leader. He has held other various financial leadership roles with Community Health Systems, which took him to Mooresville, North Carolina and Spokane, WA.

Corey chose to be at Valor Health to be a part of a growing organization and community where the decisions and strategy would have a more immediate impact. Corey is excited about the amazing opportunity Valor Health and Gem County have in the coming years as healthcare continues to evolve and progress.

Corey received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, with a Finance Emphasis from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. He later received his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA.

Corey, his wife, and three children have been in Idaho since 2016 and absolutely love it. They love to spend time outside and have been helping their kids experience new opportunities here such as horse riding, piano, soccer, BMX, and camping!
